We have hit 500 fans on facebook, so it is time for a big giveaway. We decided to do a super fun makeup contest this time. The the me of the contest will be.......

The Nightmare Before Christmas

To enter, you will need to create a makeup look inspired by the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas, or one of the characters.

Here are some characters that you can draw your inspiration from...

1. You must create a new, original look based on a character from the movie. One entry per person.

2. You must have the phrase "I'm a RagDoll" written on a piece of paper or somewhere on your body so that I know the look was created specifically for this contest.

3. You must like our facebook page and follow our blog.

4. Submit your entry to ragdollsbeauty@yahoo.com, Must include your first and last name.

5. Entries must be in collage format and include 2 pictures of the look as well a a picture of the character who inspired the look.

6. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm on September 15, 2011. 

The Prizes

There will be two winners for this contest. First place will win a full size set of our entire This is Halloween Collection. Second place will win a sample size set of the collection. 

Winners will be decided by myself and 2 other judges.

And since we are about 3 weeks away from the launch of our Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Collection, we have decided to make that the theme of the contest. Plus we are giving you a little sneak peek at the colors in the collection.

So here is how the contest is going to work:

• The top picture shows the swatches of the 6 Breaking Dawn themed eyeshadow colors.
• Below that is a list of the characters who inspired the eyeshadow colors in no particular order.
• What you must do is decide which color you think goes with which character.
• In a comment you will list your first and last name, then the numbers 1-6 and beside each number, list the name of the character that you think goes with that character.
• The person who gets the highest number right wins.
• If there is more than one person with the highest amount, we will draw a random name from those with the highest amount.
• You must like our facebook page and subscribe to our blog in order to win.

Anime Look Step By Step

I did a fun little anime makeup look out of sheer boredom tonight, and I thought I would share a step by step tutorial with you. This is all done using RagDollsBeauty products.

Applied Love You Long Time Eyeshadow Primer over entire lid and eyebrow.

Covered eyebrow with Once You Go Black and Foil Me Serum.

Drew in eye shape with Once You Go Black and Foil Me Serum

Filled in eye shape with Teal The World Ends and Poison Apple.

drew in pupil shape with Once You Go Black and Foil Me Serum.

Filled in pupil shape, leaving 2 small ovals.

Filled in outside of eyes and pupil highlights with Freak In The Sheets.

Lined eye using Once You Go Black and Foil Me Serum.

Drew on new eyebrow with Once You Go Black and Foil Me Serum.

Applied F*#@ed Up Fuchsia and Red Light District as "eyeshadow".

Final look with F*#@ed Up Fuchsia as blush and Hot Mess with Foil Me Serum on lips.

I just had to add that when I showed my husband this final look his reaction was "I don't get it". Men, I swear!! He does not understand creativity at all!
